I totally forgot to mention this when it happened earlier this month, but I thought I should let you guys know:

Metra recently raised their rates. Weekend passes are now $7.00. Regular fares have also raised, and so has the penalty charge for buying a ticket on the train (when your ticket office is open). Oddly, ten-rides and monthly passes are still the same prices.

CTA has recently cut or shortened the frequency of a bunch of their bus routes, so if you haven't been downtown this month, some old bus routes you remember might be missing.

Alice in Wonderland meetup: Last post

I need a final headcount for who is coming to the movie and to dinner.

When: 6:30 PM (movie starts at 7:30)

The movie is 1hr and 49 minutes long, so we're meeting at Prairie Moon at 9:30 for dinner and drinks.  They serve regular food until 11:00 PM according to the web site and then they serve bar food from what I understand.  There will be people there who are not part of this comm who are meeting us at Prairie Moon or the theater and who will not be in Lolita.  I've invited people I know outside of the lolita community because this is not just a meetup but also my birthday party.  :D
