Sailor/Pirate themed meet-up?

I really like themed meet-ups and I've always wanted to have a chigothloli sailor and pirate themed meet (though you would not have to wear sailor/pirate to attend). I was thinking maybe we could go to Navy Pier because I've never been there before and always wanted to go. But since I've never been there I'm not sure what we would do for food or other activities although I know it's slightly expensive. So I was wondering if there would be any interest in that.

If Navy Pier is too expensive are there any other ideas of what would make a good sailor/pirate themed meet-up?

SW/W suburbs mini meetup June 3rd

A couple people were interested in meeting up so I will go with it. The previous post was here

Now that many of us know how to get to Downer's Grove, I think that is a good place to meet. There are a lot of nice shops that we didn't get to explore after the tea meetup, including a knitting supplies + coffee shop and another one dedicated to beads. There's chocolate shops, souvenir shops, a bookstore, Tivoli theater which plays movies w/ minimal ticket prices, a quiliting shop (with more fabrics than I could ever dream up!), an ice cream place. Those are the highlights of what is within walking distance of the train station. With so few people I think we can play it by ear.
