Botanical Gardens Autumn Viewing trip general Itinerary

I've had a few requests not for a more solid itinerary.  There are two things I definitely want to catch this time around.

I want to take the tram ride.  I think, what with fall colors being the focus, a guided tour on a tram through the different areas of the garden would be a fantastic way to get the most out of the colors.

I also want to check out the fruit growers event going on.  They're going to have cider pressing demonstrations as well as lots of locally grown fruits for sale and on display.  I've never seen a paw paw before.

So with this in mind, the general Itinerary will be this:

10:30-11:15: Meeting in the information building (this is the building with the food court, information desk, and gift shop.  Also the tram ride tickets are sold out front).
11:15-12:15: Checking out the Fruit Sellers event, which will likely be held near where the Bonsai event was last time we went.
12:15-1:00: I want to take the tram ride around this time.
1:00-4:00: Walking through the garden.  I am not sure the order in which I want to do the walk this time. The web site suggests we do it in this order:
Heritage Garden
Evening Island
Rose Garden
English Walled Garden
The Prarie
Native Plant Garden
Sensory Garden
Japanese Garden

I'll double check the map before we actually start walking so I can figure out if this is the best way to enjoy all the colors.

The weather channel web site as of right now says it will be sunny with a high of 66. Make sure you dress warm enough, and bring comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking.  I can't stress this enough.

I can't wait to see everyone there!  Bring your cameras and your smiles, and lets have a fantastic time.
